Privacy policy

Boxing Coach is an app made by Kineto-Soft ("we"). This policy explains what data the app uses and what happens to it.

1. Signing in with Google

You only sign in to rate videos. When you sign in, Google gives the app your name, email address and Google account ID. With each request, the app sends a sign-in token to our server. The server checks it and stores only:

• your Google account ID
• your email address
• the date you first signed in
• how many videos you rated today and this month

We use this only to sign you in and to count how many videos you rate. We never get your Google password.

2. Videos you choose to rate

When you tap Record or Pick video on the "Rate my bag work" screen, the app uploads that video to our server. The video can show you, your surroundings, and the sound your camera recorded. We use it only to create your rating.

• The upload uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Our server keeps the video in a temporary file only while it's being analyzed, then deletes it.
• Our server sends the video to the Google Gemini API, which analyzes it and returns the rating. We delete the video from Google's storage as soon as the analysis is done. Google also deletes uploaded files automatically after 48 hours.
• The rating result stays in our server's memory until your app picks it up, for at most one hour. Then it's discarded.

Google processes the video for us under the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service. We use the paid Gemini API service, under which Google doesn't use your content to improve its products.

Please don't film other people without their permission.

3. Boxing Coach Pro subscription

Pro is sold through Google Play, and Google Play handles the payment. We never see your card or bank details. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your Google account ID as your user ID, and Google Play sends it your purchase details: which plan, the purchase and renewal dates, and whether it's active. Before our server allows more ratings, it asks RevenueCat whether you have Pro.

4. Reporting a rating

If you report a rating, we store the rating text and the reason you picked. A report isn't linked to your account. We use reports only to improve the ratings.

5. Data stored on your phone

Your past ratings (score, feedback text and date) are saved only on your phone. They're deleted when you delete your account, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. We can't see them.

6. Server logs

Like most web servers, our server records technical request data such as IP address, time and the requested address. We use these logs only for security and fixing problems, and we delete them after 30 days.

7. Permissions

• Camera: to record a video, only when you tap Record.
• Internet: to sign in, upload videos for rating and receive the result.
• Vibration: for the round timer.

The app doesn't access your location, contacts or microphone. The sound in a recorded video comes from your phone's camera app.

8. Sharing

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising. Google handles sign-in, payments and the analysis of videos you rate, and RevenueCat checks subscriptions, as described above. They work for us as service providers. We don't share your data with anyone else.

9. Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. This removes everything our server stores about your account right away, and the rating history on your phone. You can also ask us to delete it without the app. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions.

10. Children

Boxing Coach isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
